For over Ten years we have proudly looked after walkers visiting the English Lake District, with guests from all over the World, and many of them staying more than once due to our warm Cumbrian welcome! Our guests often comment on the quietness and beauty of the Western Lakeland Fells, and visit specifically for the enjoyable unspoiled walks.
After day one of the coast to coast walk, come have a chat with me in the bar, and enjoy a well deserved relaxing drink. We stock a range of real ales, lagers and spirits, as well as offering soft drinks, coffee and good old English tea.
Real Homemade Food
We serve traditional home cooked food, using the very best fresh local produce where possible. We offer an extensive main menu, containing a great range of pub classics including steak pie and Cumberland sausage. We also offer a pack lunch menu with a variety of sandwiches.
